PHOENIX COMPANY "Coming and Going" Style, Tongue & Groove Plane.

Wood tools a century or more old, may have dents, dings, scratches, age/shrinkage checks, and warpage.  Anything significant will be noted and photographed.
The plane has been lightly cleaned, by hand, using a Scotch-Brite pad and B.L.O.
One end is marked "
PHOENIX COMPANY    HITCHCOCKVILLE    WARRANTED
" .
The other end is marked " 1/2   No. 82"
PHOENIX COMPANY made planes in Hitchcockville, Connecticut
from 1853 to 1901.
The irons are marked "HUMPHREYSVILL  WARRANTED CAS"  (incomplete due to available space and assumed to be "
HUMPHREYSVILLE  WARRANTED CAST STEEL".
Cuts a nominal 1/8" Tongue & Groove.
Very nice condition, IMHO.
The irons will need to be sharpened, and the sole may need truing if this plane is to be used.
The wedges and irons may be removed for shipping.
