Antique English sterling silver perfume bottle, ornate scrolling repousse sterling over glass with hinged top, no inner glass stopper, measuring 2-3/8" high x 1-3/8" in diameter, has English hallmarks for Birmingham, 1894, maker's initiates: CM for Charles May registered silversmith of Birmingham, engraved around the shoulder: "WON BY BEN RHYDDING, 11th SEPTEMBER 1903", must have been a prize, condition:  base edge has slight ding, top is dinged, no inner stopper, sold as is, as found, from a local estate.
