They are not solid metal; both are filled with what sounds like beads or sand when shaken. The larger one measures 3.5" tall and 1.75" in diameter across the top. Both have lots of wear and patina as pictured.

    Antique Brass Balance Scale Weights, set of two. Both are marked "Central Scientific Co."; one is 500 grams and is missing the loop at the bottom, the other is 100 grams and has its bottom loop. They are not solid metal; both are filled with what sounds like beads or sand when shaken.
    The larger one measures 3.5" tall and 1.75" in diameter across the top. Both have lots of wear and patina as pictured.
