Antique Eimer & Amend Apothecary Scale & Mahogany Case
A wonderful antique apothecary scale with ample signs of actual usage.
This scale is complete and working and includes the extras shown in picture # 6 as shown.
The glass is in good condition,
however it does have a crack on the top as shown in picture #4.
The wood case has typical dings and dents as would be expected of a period piece.
Produced by Eimer & Amend, New York, the laboratory instrument manufacturer, with brass and silver metal fittings in the interior of a mahogany wood and glass case with a drawer below for parts, with bone knobs, and an engraved bone plaque with the manufacturer's name inside at the base. With two finger screw type brass leveling feet on the front and one stationary brass leg at the center rear.
Measuring 16 1/4" wide, 8" deep and 15" tall.
