    Offered here for your consideration is a
    modernist English sterling silver and amethyst encrusted dresser box.
    It dates to 1970.
    The box is
    in overall good, as-pictured used estate condition with
    some very light edge wear, some fine and light surface scratches here and there, and other signs of light wear consistent with age
    and use.
    The base is marked for London, sterling silver, 1970, and with a maker's mark SL.
