    Description

    You are purchasing a beautiful antique pair of sterling silver figural salt and pepper shakers made in Birmingham England. They are marked with a W.G&S makers mark as well as a lion passant for sterling and an anchor for Birmingham and a lower case a date mark for 1901. They are in good antique condition with normal use wear and a few shallow dings and they are in good usable condition. One of them has an applied lion on a shield with a trident in it's claws and a crown above it's head and they have a nice warm lightly tarnished patina and there is no monogram or removals. The tops come off easily but stay on when upside down and there is no pitting which is a bonus for shakers this old. They measure 1 5/8" tall by 1 1/4" wide not including the handles and they weight a total of 20.6 grams. High bidder to pay .50 shipping with tracking in the continental U.S. Thanks for looking!!
