    Description

    Pair of George V perfumes. Made by Adie Bros in Birmingham in 1925. Each: Crystal baluster bowl with scrolls, flowers, swags, and paterae. Short neck with sterling silver collar and hinged truncated-cone cover. Cover top flat with engine-turned wave ornament alternating with pink gold stripes; cover top has sterling silver border with quatrefoil flower heads. A sweet synthesis of snazzy Art Deco geometry and traditional Edwardian Regency. Fully marked.
