    Description

    Up for bid is a good William IV English sterling toddy or punch ladle with baleen handle by EM, London, 1795-96.  The ladle is 11 ¼ inches long, and the oval bowl is 3 ¼ inches across by 1 inch deep.  The baleen handle is lightly twisted and has a pinned silver cap The piece has not been monogrammed.  It is marked in the bowl with a maker’s mark of [EM] with London hallmarks for 1795-96.
    Condition on the piece is fairly good.  The bowl has some dents and is a bit overpolished.  The handle is just slightly loose and in nice condition.  A fine old toddy ladle!
