    Offered for sale in this Buy-It-Now fixed price listing is (1) Ingersoll Rand 285B-A92A handle and trigger assembly. The Ingersoll Rand 285B-A92A handle and trigger assembly works as an exact replacement part for Ingersoll Rand 285B impact wrenches.
    3 complete handle and trigger units are shown above. 1 complete handle and trigger unit only each is sold per B-I-N purchase. I include either the handle gasket that came with this part or will add a new one if the original gasket is torn. If I have inventory for new handle mounting screws I will provide them optionally. This handle has the complete air inlet system with steel inlet bushing. It has all of the IR air regulation controls installed and is bolt on ready as I provide it.
    *Special tool advisory: If you have an IR285A tool this IR285B-A92A handle and trigger unit will not fit your tool without expensive modifications I describe below. The handle assembly and gasket are different as the mounting bolt pattern is different from the IR285A to the IR285B. The issue immediately becomes that the original (obsolete) IR285A air motor housing will also not will bolt up to this 285B-A92A handle and bolt pattern. To make your obsolete IR285A transition to aN IR285B handle you must add the complete IR285B-40 air motor frame or complete air motor that couples to this IR285B-A92A handle. An IR285B handle and trigger unit bolts only to an IR285B air motor unit. Then you can use the obsolete IR285A hammer case and it's contents. I currently list the 285B air motor unit on ebay and that combined with this 285B-A92A will work on your IR285A tool for the correct transition. Only done the way I explain this will work.
