    Antique sterling silver shell shaped dish bearing the hallmarks of Henry Chapin, Sheffiled, England circa 1896. About 9.5 inches (24cm). Weighs a substantial 226 grams. Great form and finely detailed. Clear hallmarks. Nice patina. I like this antique Victorian sterling silver dish and think you will too.
    Good condition as described and photographed above...minor wear from age and normal use....would further benefit from light polishing which I have not attempted.
