RARE DR. C.H. FITCH'S PRESCRIPTION SCALE PATENTED SEPT. 29TH 1885

Description

Offered is a Victorian Era pharmaceutical scale.
It comes in its original metal case and includes the spatula (not often found intact!)
The scale was manufactured by N V Randolph & Co of Richmond Virginia
To use, the sliding balance fits into the scale and would slide back and forth to measure grains.  Included is a small history of where the scales have been throughout the years.
