Stanley Bedrock 605 Corrugated Plane - Restored And Tuned. SW Iron. This is a beautiful example of a Bedrock 605 with corrugated sole and SW iron. Casting is in excellent condition with no cracks or rust. Sides and sole have been lapped and polished. Plane bed has been painted with a flat black lacquer. Rosewood handle and front tote have been lightly sanded to 3000 grit and finished with tung oil, then buffed. The SW iron is a laminated steel blade, and it has been ground to a 25 degree primary bevel and then a 30 degree 2nd bevel was ground with water stones to 8000 grit. It is tuned and taking fine shavings! Ready to be put to work or added to your collection! Will include a Lie Nielsen plane sock.
