Vintage Authors Card Game 'Whitman Deck' Unknown Date - Incomplete, see details

Twin Flame Services, LLC presents this vintage Authors Card Game, obtained from a family estate. This set is unboxed and missing the instruction card, so we are unable to determine which year this particular deck was released. From our research, we were only able to determine this version is known as "the Whitman set". This is an incomplete set...the exact cards missing are detailed below. This set may be of interest to anyone who also has an incomplete deck with different missing cards but has the same card back design with the red ship, so as to create a complete deck.

- James Fenimore Cooper: The Deerslayer
- Charles Dickens - The Pickwick Papers
- Nathaniel Hawthorne - House of the Seven Gables
- Sir Walter Scott - Kenilworth
- Mark Twain - The Mysterious Stranger
Overall the cards are in good shape, none appear to have been folded/creased, very little fraying around the edges. The cards are not coated, so there is an aged/patina appearance on the face of the cards.
